Privacy Policy

CrewNexo is operated by Boltout. This policy explains exactly what this website collects, why, and who else sees it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

The short version

We ask for your email address so we can tell you when CrewNexo opens in your area. We send you one confirmation now and a note at launch. We never send text messages, we never sell your details, and we never show your information to other contractors or crews.

What you give us

When you join the early-access list we ask for four things: whether you mainly need crews or work, your name, your email address, and your ZIP code. Your email address is required because it is the only way we contact you.

You may also, entirely optionally, add a mobile phone number, your role at the business, your business name, the trades you work in, and your crew size. The phone number is used for one thing only: so we can call you if your area opens early. It is never used for automated messages of any kind.

What we collect automatically

Which language version of the page you used, so we write to you in that language.

If you arrived through a shared invite link or an ad, the referral code and campaign tags in that link, so we know which areas and channels people are coming from.

A one-way hash of your IP address, used to limit how often the form can be submitted from one place. We do not keep the address itself, the hash cannot be reversed back into it, and it is kept in our database only for the short window that limit covers.

Analytics and bot protection

We use PostHog to count page views and to see which parts of the page people use, so we can make it clearer. It is configured to respect your browser's Do Not Track setting, and it does not receive your name, email address or phone number.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the form is being filled in by a person rather than a script. To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some technical signals from your browser. Without this the form would be flooded and the list would be worthless.

Who else handles your information

We keep this list deliberately short. Each of these companies processes your information only so that this page can work:

  • Supabase — the database where your signup is stored.
  • Resend — delivers the email we send you and the notification we send ourselves.
  • Cloudflare — runs the bot check described above.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and runs the code that receives the form.
  • PostHog — the analytics described above.

How long we keep it

Your signup is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, and we also receive a copy as an email in our own inbox. Only the CrewNexo team can read either. We keep them until CrewNexo has launched in your area, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

What you can ask us to do

Email hello@crewnexo.com and we will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it entirely. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask for one. Every email we send you can be replied to directly.

What we never do

We do not send text messages, now or in future. We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not show your information to other contractors, crews or companies. There is no product yet, so there is nothing else your information is used for.

Age

This list is for people working in the trade, so it is not intended for anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, email hello@crewnexo.com and we will remove the record.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and the date at the top of it. If the change is significant and we already have your email address, we will tell you by email.
